At the Catholic Church in Kavala, Mass is celebrated in Greek along with all readings. However, if the majority of the congregation is foreign with a common language (e.g., polish), a reading may be read in said language by a volunteer, or there will be a reading in English. If you wish to volunteer, simply ask the priest or one of the local parishioners and they can inform the priest. There are also books available within the Church on the front table that explain the order of the Mass in serval different languages, such as English, Polish, German, Spanish, etc.
If you have any questions about Mass times or languages in regards to the Mass, please email us through our “Contact” page.
